EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
Charles
T. Goodson began his career in the oil and
gas industry in 1977 with Mobil Oil Corporation in New Orleans, Louisiana
as a Landman. In 1980, he joined Callon Petroleum Company in Natchez,
Mississippi and was promoted to Regional Land Manager in 1983 and Land
Manager in 1984.
In 1985, Mr. Goodson became a co-founder,
owner and President of American Explorer, Inc., an exploration and production
company located in Lafayette, Louisiana. In 1995, he co-founded and
became a partner of American Explorer, LLC. The main focus of the company
was exploration in the Gulf Coast Region of the Southern United States
and the Central and Western Gulf of Mexico. In 1998, American Explorer,
LLC merged with PetroQuest Energy, Inc., and Mr. Goodson became its
President and Chief Executive Officer. Currently, he serves as Chairman,
Chief Executive Officer and President.
Mr. Goodson is a member of the Lafayette
Association of Petroleum Landmen and the American Association of Petroleum Landmen.
He is a member of IberiaBank's Lafayette Advisory Board, the Governor’s
Energy Policy Advisory Commission and the Young President’s Organization
(YPO). His civic organization memberships include the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce
and the United Way of Acadiana. Mr. Goodson is past Regional Governor - Louisiana
(Southwest) for the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and
past Chairman of the Louisiana Independent Oil and Gas Association (LIOGA).
Daniel G. Fournerat joined
PetroQuest Energy, Inc. in April 2001. He currently serves as Executive
Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer and
Secretary. Mr. Fournerat previously
served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He
served on the Board of Directors of the Company from September 1998
until October 2001. Prior to joining PetroQuest, Mr.
Fournerat practiced as an attorney for 24 years with the Lafayette,
Louisiana law firm of Onebane, Bernard, Torian, Diaz, McNamara & Abell,
primarily engaged
in representing oil and gas exploration and production companies, sophisticated
mineral owners and service companies in various facets of their Gulf
Coast oil and gas activities.
During his many years of private practice,
Mr. Fournerat has acted as legal advisor on numerous oil and gas producing
property acquisitions and divestitures in the Gulf Coast Region. His
involvement in such complex transactions has included serving as primary
closing counsel representing sellers and buyers, advising with respect
to Louisiana, Gulf Coast and Gulf of Mexico assets, as well as associated
traditional secured bank, production payment and mezzanine financing.
Before joining PetroQuest,
Mr. Fournerat served on the Board of Directors of The Onebane Law
Firm.
He has
served
on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Independent Oil & Gas Association,
the Regional Board of Trustees of the Independent Petroleum Association
of America, and the Advisory Board of the Gulf Coast Prospect Expo.
Mr. Fournerat graduated from the Louisiana
State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1976 and holds a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Accounting from McNeese State University in Lake
Charles, Louisiana. Mr. Fournerat has been a frequent lecturer on oil
and gas legal and financing issues for the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute,
the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and various oil and gas industry
associations.
W. Todd Zehnder is Petroquest's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Previously, Mr. Zehnder served the Company as Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Oil & Gas Marketing, as well as other positions including Controller. Prior to joining PetroQuest in December 2001, he served the oil and gas industry for five years with KPMG LLP, where he attained the level of Manager.
Mr. Zehnder is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University in 1996. Mr. Zehnder is a member of Independent Petroleum Association of America, the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Art M. Mixon joined
PetroQuest Energy in January 2001. He currently serves as Executive Vice President – Exploration
and Production. Mr. Mixon previously served as Senior Vice President – Operations. Prior
to joining PetroQuest, Mr. Mixon spent 20 years in various engineering, supervisory
and management positions with Amoco, BP Amoco and BP. Mr. Mixon received
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University
in 1980.
Mr. Mixon is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of the SPE, AADE,
and API. He is a member and past chairman of the LSU Petroleum Engineering
Industry Advisory Committee.
Mark K. Stover joined PetroQuest Energy, Inc. in December 2002. He currently serves as Executive Vice President – Corporate Development. Mr. Stover previously served as Senior Vice President – Business Development and Vice President – Exploration for the Company. Prior to joining PetroQuest in December 2002, Mr. Stover spent sixteen years in technical and supervisory positions with various companies including Newfield, Chevron and Tenneco.
Mr. Stover holds a B.S. in Geology from Waynesburg College (PA) and attained a M.S. in Geophysics from Wright State University (OH) in 1986.
Stephen H. Green joined PetroQuest Energy, Inc. in September 1999 as
Business Development Manager. He currently serves as Senior Vice President-Exploration.
Mr. Green was previously an officer with Ocean Energy, Inc. where he served as
Vice President of Exploration both onshore and offshore Gulf of Mexico region.
Prior to Ocean Energy, Mr. Green spent seven years with Newfield Exploration
as a Venture Partner and as an Explorationist. Mr. Green began his oil and gas
career with Tenneco Exploration & Production
in the offshore Gulf of Mexico region.
Mr. Green earned a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Geology from the University of South Alabama in 1978 and a
Masters of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana
Lafayette in 1980. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum
Geologist and Society of Exploration Geophysicist.
Dalton F. Smith III joined
PetroQuest Energy, Inc. in March 2001 as Sr. Vice President – Business Development. He currently serves as Senior Vice President-Business Development
& Land. Mr. Smith was previously with Unocal Corporation, where he
held the position of Land Manager since March 1998. In this capacity, Mr.
Smith directed the land management and joint venturing activities for
all of Unocal's Gulf Coast onshore and Gulf of Mexico Shelf exploration
and production activities. He was also instrumental in much of Unocal's
acquisition, divestiture and business development efforts for the Gulf
Region USA business unit. Prior to his employment with Unocal, Mr.
Smith spent 14 years with Mobil Oil Corporation. During his tenure with Mobil,
Mr. Smith served in a variety of land and other commercial capacities
in the company's onshore Gulf Coast and Gulf of Mexico operations,
including exploration project management, acquisitions & divestitures, and pipeline
transportation and exchange.
Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science
in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette
in 1984 and is a Certified Professional Landman. He is a member of the
Petroleum Landmen's Association of New Orleans, the Houston Association
of Professional Landmen, the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen,
the American Association of Professional Landmen, and is the Regional
Director for the Louisiana Independent Oil & Gas Association.
J. Bond Clement joined PetroQuest Energy, Inc. in October of 2004 as Controller. He currently serves as Sr. Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer. He has previously served as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining PetroQuest, Mr. Clement worked at Stone Energy Corporation for seven years in a variety of finance and accounting related management positions, most recently as Controller. Prior to joining Stone, Mr. Clement served as Assistant Controller and Financial Reporting Manager at Freeport McMoRan, Inc. and worked for several years at Arthur Andersen auditing primarily energy related clients.
Mr. Clement earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1993, Cum Laude, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
James S. Blair
joined PetroQuest Energy, Inc. in September of 2003 as Vice President
of Business Development. Most recently, Mr. Blair managed acquisitions and divestitures
for Wellspring Partners LLC, a marketing, engineering and advisory specialist
firm located in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Blair has extensive transaction expertise having held senior management
positions at Gothic Energy Corporation in Tulsa, Cortez Oil & Gas
in Dallas and Toreador Royalty Corporation in Dallas. His initial experience
in the energy business was with Tenneco Oil Company in Houston in their
Business Development Group from 1980 until the sale of all of the company’s
exploration and production divisions in1988.
He has public and private company experience at Gothic, Cortez and
Toreador that have included the management of mergers and acquisitions, strategic
planning, asset rationalization, corporate finance and communications with bankers,
analysts, investment managers, outside engineers, accountants and attorneys.
Mr. Blair earned an Master of Business Administration from the University of
Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
Patrick A. Brazan joined PetroQuest Energy, Inc. in 2006 as Asset Manager - Arkoma. He currently serves as Vice President-Oklahoma Assets. Mr. Brazan was previously with ConocoPhillips where he served as Vice President – Operations – Australia. Mr. Brazan spent 27 years with Conoco and ConocoPhillips serving in numerous domestic and overseas management positions and strategic planning roles.
Mr. Brazan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Louisiana State University and participated in the Carnegie-Mellon Executive Program.

William
W. Rucks, IV has served as our director since October
1999. Mr. Rucks has been a private venture capitalist-investor since September
1996. He has served as a director of OMNI Energy Services, Inc. since 1997. He
served as President and Vice Chairman of Ocean Energy, Inc., formerly Flores & Rucks,
Inc., from July 1995 until September 1996 and as its President and Chief Executive
Officer from its inception in 1992 until July 1995. From 1985 to 1992, Mr. Rucks
served as President of FloRuxco, Inc. Before then, Mr. Rucks worked as Petroleum
Landman with Union Oil Company of California in its Southwest Louisiana District,
serving as Area Land Manager from 1981 to 1984.

Wayne Nordberg has served as our director since April
2000. Mr. Nordberg is currently with Ingalls & Snyder LLC,
a private investment management firm serving family offices, foundations,
charities and pensions. From 1998 to 2002, he served as Vice
Chairman of the Board of KBW Asset Management, Inc., an affiliate of Keefe, Bruyette,
& Woods, Inc., a registered investment advisor offering investment
management services to institutions and high net worth individuals.
From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Nordberg served in various capacities for Lord,
Abbett & Co., a mutual fund company, including partner and director
of their family of funds. He is a member of the Financial Analysts
Federation and The New York Society of Security Analysts. Mr.
Nordberg received a Bachelor of Art in Economics from Lafayette College,
Easton, Pennsylvania, where he is a Trustee Emeritus.
Michael
L. Finch has served as our director since November 2003.
Mr. Finch served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board
of Directors of Stone Energy Corporation from 1993 until his retirement
in 1999. He was affiliated with Stone in a variety of capacities
for nineteen years. Prior to his service with Stone, he was employed
by an international public accounting firm in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Finch has been a private investor since 1999. He was licensed
as a Certified Public Accountant in 1978, and received a Bachelor of Science
in Accounting from the University of South Alabama in 1976.
W.J. Gordon, III
joined our Board of Directors in January 2004. Mr. Gordon served in
various capacities with Conoco Inc. and ConocoPhillips for 32 years until his
retirement in 2002, including President of Dubai Petroleum Company (Conoco Middle
East subsidiary), President and Managing Director of Conoco Norway, Inc. and
Regional Production Manager for Conoco’s
Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast Region. Currently, he is Vice President
of Strategic Planning of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System
and serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce,
the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Acadiana and the Advisory
Board of IberiaBank Corporation. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers
and the American Petroleum Institute. Mr. Gordon served as Captain in the U.S.
Army Field Artillery and received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Southern
University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1970.
Dr. Charles F. Mitchell, II is a surgeon and has been Senior Partner of ENT Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana since 1978 with multiple hospital and surgery center affiliations. He has multiple business interests in Real Estate and Oil & Gas with board positions. Since 1994-present, through merger and acquisitions, he served on the Devon board until 2005 and PetroQuest Board of Directors since 2005-present and is Chairman of the Compensation Committee.
